Bebashi Friendraiser

What’s a Bebashi Friendraiser?

A Friendraiser is an event that is hosted by supporters and champions of Bebashi. These events help to raise awareness of our mission, provide education to attendees, and raise necessary funds to support Bebashi’s lifesaving work. Bebashi staff can help you plan your event and provide printable educational materials.

How to Host in Three Easy Steps:

Decide what kind of event you want to host and where.
Go online and fill out the volunteer form here. Bebashi staff will contact you about your event.
Invite your friends, family, and/or colleagues together to have fun, learn, and advocate!

Need Some Ideas?:

Host a party or gathering where you ask attendees to make a donation to attend. We had someone do this for their birthday get together!
Know someone who manages or owns a restaurant or bar? Do a happy hour or Quizzo night to benefit the organization.
Ask your workplace’s manager if staff can donate to dress down and/or wear jeans on a Friday. This could also be a fun Philly team jersey day or theme day.

Bebashi is actively recruiting community members to serve on our Board of Directors. We seek individuals who want to make a difference in their community’s public health. Experience is sought in a variety of areas including finance, marketing, communications, government, advocacy, business, social enterprise, and event planning.
