When you are hungry, nothing else matters. Bebashi’s Food First Emergency Food Pantry aims to ensure that those who are struggling with food insecurity don’t go hungry.
Our pantry provides boxed and canned foods and fresh meats, fruits, and vegetables. We also offer nutrition workshops and easy-to-prepare recipes to help you and your family eat more healthfully.
Bebashi clients can automatically access the food pantry once a month. If you are not a client of Bebashi, you will need a referral letter from a social worker. The referral must be dated for the current month and include family size and the last four digits of the recipient’s Social Security Number.
To learn if you’re eligible for the Bebashi Emergency Food Pantry, please view the Food First Pantry Visitor Policies.
Bebashi’s FoodFirst Food Pantry is the largest food pantry in North Philadelphia. We provide food and basic personal care items to over 1,900 people per year. 25% of Philadelphians experience food insecurity. Help Bebashi lower this number by hosting a food / toiletry drive in your community!
