Over 40,000 Philadelphians are estimated to be living with Hepatitis C, a chronic virus that can cause cirrhosis, liver cancer, and death.
How We Help
Up to 75% of people living with the Hep C virus do not know they are infected. To improve health outcomes for individuals living with Hep C, Bebashi provides community-based health education, testing, linkage to care and patient navigation services.
Our Impact
In the past year:
- 966 Individuals have been tested.
- 30 Community-based sites received education about HEP C
- 70 Individuals with HEP C were linked to treatment
Bebashi not only gave me hope, they gave me acceptance. They welcomed me with open arms and let me know that it was ok to be vulnerable and need help. They treated me with dignity and respect. I need to take my life back and be not who I once was but much better. Bebashi has truly been my transition to hope!

HIV testing is available daily up to 1 hour before closing.
