A Community Conversation on Health Inequities Among Black and African American Women

A Community Conversation on Health Inequities Among Black and African American Women is the second in a series of community conversations that focus on topics that affect our communities. As so many of us know, some through first-hand experience, Black women experience health disparity rates far higher than their counterparts. These include, but are not limited to, maternal mortality rates, lower rates of culturally relevant sexual and reproductive healthcare, and fewer federal resources to support holistic care for Black women.

Through this event, Bebashi – Transition to Hope aims to encourage dialogue on this topic and ignite change within our communities to increase access to quality care and resources for Philadelphia’s Black women.

Join us on Tuesday, March 23 as we engage a distinguished panel of experts in Greater Philadelphia to share their knowledge, expertise, and experience on a variety of issues relevant to the topic.
