Bebashi – Transition to Hope is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Staff Accountant to provide oversight of the financial operations of the organization. This role is perfect for a detail orientated, results driven individual who can dive right into an independent accounting role.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including managing detailed general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, maintain form W-9, completion of annual 1099s, assist with processing of payroll, manage month end closing, preparation of financial statements and board packets for financial records. Must have a strong background in non-profit financial accounting. This position will have access to confidential information and the qualified candidate must be able to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related business degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a non-profit environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills. Must have working knowledge of MS Office products and Quickbooks.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 per year
