Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician  who will assist the Treatment Adherence Specialist with the Administration of the 340B Program. This person will interface with clients to ensure that they receive their appropriate medications as well  as ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction. You will also undertake other tasks under the direction of  the Treatment Program Adherence Specialist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the program runs smoothly.

As a pharmacy technician you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers.


Under the general guidance and supervision of the Treatment Program Adherence Specialist, supports the effective and efficient operation of the program by performing the following duties:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures in accordance to internal and external guidelines that ensure that the Program is operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborates with data Manager, medical case managers and other internal and external stakeholder for the review and/or development of data and related reports. Routinely monitors monthly activity reports and performance of partner pharmacies for accuracy.
  • Regular communication with staff involved in 340B program to ensure that processes remain efficient, resolve concerns, and seek process improvements.
  • Greet clients and answer questions
  • Resolves issues when they arise
  • Sort, stock, and monitor inventory.
  • Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. Record-keeping) as assigned
  • Comply with all security measures and quality standards


  • Proven experience as pharmacy technician
  • Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Reliable with a keen eye for detail
  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program
  • Pharmaceutical certification is a preferred.
