Bebashi-Transition to Hope is a multi-purpose health and social services agency. We provide culturally sensitive health-related information, direct services, education, research, and technical assistance to reduce and eliminate HIV/AIDS as well as other health disparities, such as breast cancer and hunger, within the urban community of Philadelphia and vicinity.
Bebashi Transition to Hope is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for daily processing of vendor invoices using electronic accounting systems. In addition, they will verify the accurate completion of expense vouchers to ensure proper coding and expense allocations. Experience with bill.com and QuickBooks is preferred. The person we are seeking will have the ability to cross-train for other functions within the Finance Department, have an aptitude for learning new skills and be a team player. This position will have access to confidential information and the qualified candidate must be able to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
The qualified candidate will possess a high school diploma. Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related business degree preferred but not mandatory, depending on experience. A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in accounts payable is required. Experience in a non-profit environment is a plus, strong verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Must have working knowledge of MS Office products and QuickBooks.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $40,000 – $45,000 per year
