Our Staff

Sebrina began her professional career as a social work supervisor in a small organization committed to ensuring child welfare and safety. Today, she has over 30 years of experience in the field, working in diverse roles and across multiple domains. She has worked as an administrator in various aspects of the social work field including Mental and Behavioral Health, Housing, Education, Social Services, and Community Relations.

Her experience includes oversite of the Strength Alliance; a program that promotes and encourages the resilience, health, and well-being of individuals who engage in organized commercial or underground sex work. The Strength Alliance’s target population consists of individuals who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, and/ or intersex (LGBTQI).

Born, raised, and educated in the Philadelphia area, Sebrina earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Temple University. She continued her education in Washington DC where she attended Howard University and obtained her Masters of Social Work (MSW).

While working with a team of professionals to construct an Autism School in the greater NE, she decided to obtain a second Master’s Degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Criminal Justice with a concentration on Applied Behavior Analysis. More recently, Sebrina completed a post-graduate certificate in LGBT Health Policy and Practice at George Washington University.

Sebrina was also the primary evaluator for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grant awarded to the School district of Philadelphia for several years. “I am passionate about carrying the mission forward and fighting for their rights and liberation because we are all one in the same fight” 11 This grant supported school-based HIV prevention and surveillance including the Youth Risk Behavioral Survey (YRBS) and School Health Profiles.

Sebrina joined Bebashi after leaving her role as Director of Student Services at a small for-profit company that provides behavioral support to primarily autistic students throughout the state of Pennsylvania. She was instantly drawn to Bebashi’s mission to empower the Black, Brown and the LGBTQ community.

As a mother of two, she understands the need for culturally competent healthcare. Her oldest son Trae was born at 28 weeks gestation and diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, after less than attentive healthcare providers failed to follow up on her numerous requests for a more thorough exam to ensure the health and wellness of her unborn child. Her experience fueled her determination to address the social determinants of health affecting Black and Brown people in the city.

In her current role as President and CEO, Sebrina focuses on ensuring that uninsured and underinsured residents of the city of Philadelphia receive the services they need. Primarily, to close the health disparity gaps that exist in Black, Brown, LGBT, and other underrepresented groups in the city through education, nutrition, and preventive healthcare services.

Nafisah has worked with Bebashi since 2012 and has held several roles within the organization.

She started her career as a medical case manager and support group facilitator, and quickly moved into leadership positions as team leader and, most recently, assistant supervisor of medical case management.

Nafisah manages Bebashi’s Community Advisory Board, which provides quality assurance for client related services, and oversees the organization’s Electronic Medical Record Systems. She has participated on two strategic planning projects for the expansion of the organization and has assisted with developing Bebashi’s performance evaluation tool and leading the staff morale club.

Nafisah earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Temple University and Master of Science in Psychology from Walden University.

She joined Bebashi nine years ago because of her love of serving the community and her passion for ensuring that marginalized communities attain access to resources that they often do not receive.

She is excited to continue the development and expansion of Bebashi’s programs.

Kenille Daniel’s career spans the hospitality, financial services, nonprofit, and social impact industries in the functional areas of human resources and operations. Her experience includes human resources coordination, recruitment, operations, and business partner. Ms. Daniel leverages her diverse background as she implements HR methodologies and best practices that connect internal and external clients for shared success. She has a proven history of utilizing internal systems to promote data-driven decisions. Ms. Daniel seamlessly navigates all levels of organizations where her adaptable, people-centric mindset acts as the cornerstone of the consistently positive, productive relationships which have been a hallmark of her career.

Ms. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Graduate Certificate in Women in Politics and Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management from Fitchburg State University. She is also certified in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace by the University of South Florida, MUMA College of Business. Ms. Daniel enjoys cultivating meaningful relationships in her community as well as traveling to new destinations, reading, and spending time with loved ones.

Libro joined the Bebashi team in September of 2021.  He obtained his Master’s in Health Administration from Saint Joseph’s University in 2016 and has 5 years of high level management and administrative experience in the private healthcare sector. Prior to his administrative roles, he used his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Misericordia University to work in the field of behavioral health in Northeast Philadelphia as a case worker for children on the autism spectrum.  Currently, he is the Practice Manager for the Bebashi Wellness Clinic and works closely with the clinical staff and the entire Bebashi team to ensure that we are offering the highest quality medical services to our community.
